Trust is not a badge.
It is a process.
A strong supplier introduction is not enough. Our operating philosophy is to make quality, documentation and technical fit part of the sourcing decision from the beginning.
Five gates before "commercially ready."
The exact depth depends on molecule, market and customer requirements. The principle is constant: important claims should be supported by appropriate evidence.
Specification, use, scale, target market, documentation need and critical quality expectations.
Capability, equipment, chemistry, experience, market fit, capacity and initial quality-system evidence.
Relevant documents, technical information, inspection history or other evidence required for the program.
Samples, analytics, technical review, customer qualification and gap closure before commercial use.
Commercial supply expectations, change communication, deviations, continuity and ongoing performance review.
Never sell certainty we have not earned.
We would rather say "this still needs verification" than create false confidence. That protects the buyer, the manufacturing partner and Bombay Molecule.
What this means in practice
Share the minimum first.
A project code, general chemistry class, approximate scale and target market can often be enough to decide whether a discussion is worth continuing.
For sensitive programs
Bombay Molecule supports qualification. It does not replace it.
Final supplier approval, regulatory suitability and product-use decisions remain subject to the customer's own quality, legal and regulatory processes unless a separate written agreement explicitly assigns specific responsibilities.
Quality questions before an RFQ?
Start with the market, molecule class and documentation expectations. We can structure the conversation before sensitive details are shared.
